The mission of Saint James Missionary Baptist Church | Nashville is "A preaching, reaching, and teaching church, driven by the love of God to minister to the least, the lost, the last, and the left out.
"Living our faith daily, loving our neighbors deeply, Laboring with Purpose, Learning together passionately, In a Christ-Centered Community."
Objectives Based on Our Mission Statements
- Nurture spiritual growth through Christian Education and prayer
-Bridge generational gaps through inter-generational discipleship opportunities
- Engage in ongoing community outreach initiatives addressing local needs
- Advocate for justice and reconciliation
-Welcome and include newcomers intentionally
- Equip members to use their spiritual gifts in ministry
- Share the Gospel through words and deeds locally as well as globally
- Cultivate a culture of continuous biblical education for all ages
